An excellent work of art.  The theme is at work in more than just the one
obvious sense of the cage_s inhabitant having departed.  The inclusion of a
single non-monochromatic element heightens the drama of  the "absence" of color
in the rest of the composition.  The visual weights of empty and filled spaces
are well balanced in a fine composition with a laudable "absence" of clutter.
Bravo!
