I know what you were trying to do with the radidal shapes coming out of the
instruments but in this case I think you would have been better off without. 
That takes away from an otherwise stunning image.  I can't focus on the great
realism in your textures on the instruments because of the stuff flying through
the air.  I considered doing this in my image but then decided against it for
the this very reason.  I give you credit for taking the risk though.

An excellent image made even better by the inclusion of expressive
non-photo-realistic elements.  This entry nicely avoids a criticism to which
many technically proficient ray-trace images are (IMHO) legitimately subject,
namely "Why not just take a photograph?"  Nice work all around.

Very cool idea and image, but why is everything brighter at the top? The focus
of the image seems to be above the frame.  Great texture on the lighed bricks
but the unlighted ones seem flat and seem to glow in the dark. The cymbals are
overly reflective which makes them seem flat.
