Nice job on the modelling.

A marvelous example of how POV-Ray specifically, and ray tracing generally, can
be used to visualize an idea in a way that goes far beyond simply mimicking
ordinary visual perception. Thank you for an excellent entry.

I have found this image extremely interesting (I'm physicist). I like it very
much.

Wow!
Amazing, I like it a lot.

Notable for technical/mathematical interpretation and
work on the topic.

An important milestone in the history of "speed", but depicted in a =
coldly scientific manner.
Cool flow visualizations. Seems to be really good modeling of the X-1, =
but much of this is lost in the shock waves. Something really bothers =
me about the blue shock wave penetrating the text at the bottom of the =
image.
I think the overall image could be improved by making the two sub-images =
more symmetrical: eliminating the (quite well done) mach meter, keeping =
text the same color, removing the volume box on the right image, =
centering the top titles, and (most importantly) keeping the models the =
same size. This would help tie the two images together better.
