I love the look of this scene, for reasons I cannot place. The only thing that I
don't like is the dark upper-left corner. It breaks the symmetric unsymmetry of
the piece.

It looks like your empty glasses are solid cylinders of glass, so they don't
look like glasses. You need to do a difference with a smaller cylinder to make
the empty space inside the glass. Also, your full glasses are only half-full,
so not really opposites. Still, it's a fairly interesting idea.

The concept is good but at first glance I didn't see empty and full, I saw
transparent and color.  The glasses don't look empty, they look solid to me.  I
think the texture of glass is the problem.  I addition the glasses needed more
thickness to them - they look paper thin.
