Your description made me wish I'd thought of the small/far away joke, that would
have been fun to do! However I think the half-full/empty idea is much
cleverer.

This is a nice image, the glass looks particularly good but the photons look a
bit wrong. My only major criticism is that the scene's a bit empty. Is the
table on the edge of a cliff by the sea? Surely if it's a cliff (or a boat for
that matter) there should be some kind of guard rail to stop people falling in?
Maybe I'm reading too much into this...

that bothered me was the width of the glass - it seemed too thick at the top.
