An excellent image all-round.  Very well modeled (nice isosurface, even if the
max_gradient is low), textured and lit.  I feel your rendering pain though,
there's nothing quite as sad as having to turn down your settings, even if it
does mean the difference between having an image and not.  One suggestion
though; could you put something behind the sculpture so that the moon shape
doesn't just show off more wall?  Maybe another isosurface or something.  You
could see how much higher you can push your render times.  Thanks for sharing
this one, please submit again.
