Amazing and, quite frankly, frightening modeling (at least to a non-math person
such as myself).  Your concept is a good one, but what brings this image down
is it's lack of realism due primarily to the lighting.  It's just too bright. 
Try out some radiosity (realism's best friend) and throw in a few area lights
and you'll be set.  Great work, and thanks for entering.
