One of these days I'm actually going to figure out how to solve one of those
things... Anyway, I like your idea here.  The modeling is effective, and the
lighting does a good job of showing it off.  A bit of work on the textures
might benefit your scene as they are all rather flat; some normal patters mixed
with some reflection/specular glow might help to sell the image.
