It's not a "natural force" here, a human one...

From dbn_3@yahoo.com:
Without the snow cover the image is way off topic. If you keep working on it
and get a good snow cover post it up on the povray news server. It should look
great.

From bertram.henze@t-online.de:
Without the description, I would not have recognized it was about winter. It
does not look cold, just desolate.

From s.day@uel.ac.uk:

More like forces of war than nature, I read the explanation but without the snow
I don't think it fits the category.

From p_chan@shaw.ca:
The intention for the concept was a good one, but as
the image stands it doesn't really show "force of
nature" that well. I agree a snowed in city would have
been quite a bit of work, but creating the image of an
impending blizzard may not have been as difficult (dark
clouds, many snowflakes in the air, a few clumps of
snow on the wet ground, and, of course, the fog would
have helped too).

Pros: Interesting image of an urban battlefield.
Cons: The connection to the topic is weak, to say the least. Your text states
that winter is the real winner of the battle of Stalingrad, yet you don't show
any snow in the picture "because it was too difficult"???
