Hm, yes, I miss the atmosphere of the planet! And... you cannot see the ocean
bottom through the ocean water! So, using a map from a geography book is not
enough!!
The meteorite shows too much straight angles. Makes it artificial (which perhaps
it is!)

It would look more menacing, if the asteroid would also cast a shadow on the
earth, especially since the earth apparently has no clouds to spoil the
effect.
