IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

A rendering of two metal puzzles that I have. My goal was to try to make the
image as realistic as possible. The point of the cubic puzzle is to try to
remove the small cube from the large one. The spherical puzzle is made of six
pieces that only fit together a certain way.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

I measured the pieces of the puzzles, then made them in Povray using
constructive solid geometry operations. The large cube has an interior and 6
seperate face pieces, because each face needed to have a difference
3D texture orientation. I worked on making the edges of the sphere puzzle parts
rounded, but gave up. The textures were all created by me, except for the
marble on the floor, which is one of the built-in Povray marble textures.
