I haven't read the book you speak of but I assume it has something to do with
deserts. Please explain how next time. I would have recommended using
twinkling stars as a texture on the sky sphere.

From rgow@lanset.com:
Interesting, two entries based on "Le Petit Prince". Not what I would
immediately think of for desert, but it fits. Softer edges for the stars I
think would go better with the lighting. Media maybe.

Very unique image, and a well made one at that. The poser figure looks great,
the stars are wonderfully fake (strings would be cool), and the plane shadow
helps to add that mobile like feel to the image, though a slightly softer
shadow for the plane might help. The desert isosurface is pretty good, though
more waves would be nice. Great image, good work.

One of two Little Prince images I have seen so far in this competition, and
completely different from each other. I like this image, it very much reminds
me of the book. The gradient in the sky is a problem, though.

Good idea
Notable for textures, composition, originality, modelling

Another great but off-topic image. I look forward to seeing what you make for
the next round - "Toys and Games"
