I love how the cacti turned out. How about using the stacked planes technique
for the clouds or even media? I think you'd get a more realistic result. Also
a little work on the mountain texture would help. A very nice image overall
though.

I'm not sure why, but this image seems to me to have a lot of the style of
Gilles Tran (in a good way!). Very good use of standard pov macros. The
mountains in the background seem a bit simple compared to the rest of the
scene.

Great textures on the rocks and sand in the foreground, although they look more
to me like a beach. Skin color of girl's arms is a little odd.

All the plants are very nice.

Nice picture, you can 'see' how much work went into it. Maybe a bit more work
with your sky would improve it.

Gotta love those isosurfaces. Those cacti really are impressive. Let's see...
you've got some great stuff here: impressive textures, very nice iso-ground,
funky domes... it's good stuff. Keep entering in the future; I'll look forward
to seeing it.

From jacoons@ameritech.net:
Excellent foreground work, especially the cactus on the left that looks like it
"got in the way" during the photograph. It's amazing what a few well-placed
macros can do for an image. Improving the textures on the rocks and "dulling
down" the colors a little would be an improvement. The sky is interesting, but
seems a little odd.

Nice take on the topic, I like the elements used and the balance between them.
Teturing or lighting or both might be modified to make things look less
cartoonish, but not a bad image overall.

Would like to know a little more about where your idea came from, but you have a
nice looking image here.

From darwallace@earthlink.net:
The mountains are too red compared with the rest of the scene. Otherwise
excellent.
