This is quite possibly the best entry of the round. Well balanced among the
three categories: artistically the fog is used perfectly here creating a good
sense of depth with grey and green colors bringing out the mood. Technically,
the modeling is outstanding, very detailed. Conceptually, the surrealistic
approach makes this image conveying the epic proportions of both the ships and
the battle. I love the water. Excellent job.

From povray@doublezero.uklinux.net:
Nicely suggestive of things not in the picture, this is a good composition of
some good models. My only complaints are that the aircraft in the background
are a bit uninteresting, and that the wooden decks on the ships seem to have
aliased a bit.

The modeling is done well, but I'm just not sure about those creatures. The
water seems a bit still around them, too.

Nice image. I just don't like the airships-things, the
domes and the clouds (too stretched).

I love this one. So much going on. And your experiment with the sea foam is
interesting, nice modelling, good composition, a very dramatic scene. Texturing
could be better/more detailed but the overall feel is good. Good work.

Great image. The 50's science fiction style is well done. It could be perfect
with some rusty parts.

Very original, imaginative.

Very well made. I like the way the fog obscures some of what is going on in the
background.
Notable for modelling
