Now that is an elaborate and creative concept.  A more complex environment would
improve this image.  This would include some variance in the vegetation and a
more subtle transition between the ground and mountains.  How about a viewpoint
from the tourists who are taking the pictures?  This would amplify the size of
the crayons instead of making the Great Wall appear small.  Thanks for taking
the time to provide a detailed scene and design description.

Quite a good idea, but the picture could do with more work. It is too flat -
textures are everything. The bits of rock at the back break up the background a
bit, ruining the desired idea of scale.

The break in the wall is a bit too regular, and there could probably be some
debris around it.  Some trees and plants would help, too.

Interesting tecniques with the sky, I_ll look into these. I_m not sure however
that anyone could guess this is the Great Wall of China, the proportions make
it look tiny compared to the landscape and the grass texture. And I_m not at
all convinced from looking at you image that the Crayons are big, on the
contrary, they look just ordinary sized.

Nice idea. I like the "Ray Doh". It doesn't look like 
enough to finish the job. Maybe it's compressed?
