From rich@brickbots.com:
Your baloon model looks very detailed, with the
overlapping cloth segments, see through portions on the
basket and flames on the burner. Why such a
pedestrian presentation? If you just would have rotated
the basket so it has a more oblique angle to the camera,
we could better appreciate it's modeling and shape.
You may also want to try the 'rule of thirds' when you are
framing your images
(http://www.silverlight.co.uk/tutorials/compose_expose
/thirds.html) this can add a lot of interest easily.

Render your image larger! I think 800 wide is a minimum
to let us really see your work, and 1024 is pretty
common.

Good use of color and consruction of the ballon.
the basket is a little bit out of scale but overall very well made.

From marlo.steed@uleth.ca:
The concept works. I liked the scaled look of the balloon but it may not be
that realistic. The basket needed something else - perhaps a different angle
to hilight the 3D aspect.

From file:
good concept i like the colors on the balloon but the panels looklike scales.
the panels need to look as if the puff out, more convex.
