From shevlin@uic.edu:
This scene is visually impressive and technically very, very well done. The
lacework-like bodies of Hector and Andromache are absolutely fascinating. Now
for the nitpicking... Many of the objects placed in the scene don't have an
apparent purpose (like all of the figures in the bottom left corner) and don't
seem to contribute to the artistic message. While the plants, grass, and tiles
support the image (although those flowers really need foliage to go along with
them), some of the objects like the things on the wall and the figures on the
right almost seem like clutter to me. The small spheres floating around
Andromache are visually distracting, and the low placement and size of the
skull are a bit creepy. The murals on the rear wall seem out of place, but it
may just be their scale. Nitpicking aside, this is clearly one of the best
images submitted this round; keep up the good work.

Very nice, a great work.

Part of me likes this image because it so different and part of me dislikes the
image because it is too busy. The concept doesn't really work for me - I
don't look at this and think mythology although once you start to deconstruct
it, the concept becomes more apparent. However, without knowledge of the
story, does the image communicate the concept of mythology?

Nice! Top contender of the round IMO. Great modeling & concept. Hector's pose
still looks a bit poserish, but I love how you built the characters.

The interpretation of the theme here is great. Some research was obviously done
into the myth. Great composition, and a nice abstract representation of the
story. All the elements of the story, yet in an artistic rather than litteral
manner. Excelent use of colour and ballance.

Some very great work here. Will be a top runner this round for sure.

Very nice work. The only thing I can suggest for
improvement would be that the clouds in the sky seem to
lack "volume."

Artistically make the aura an aura, not dots. If dots, vary their intensity.
Very good overall.

Great composition. Like Dali. I'd like one in large resolution to print out and
hang on the wall.
Notable for composition
