Nice colors, nice stones, an original concept, a good picture !

I really love this image !
My only remark is that the back and first planes seem not to have drawn the same
attention, that tends somehow to make them look unrelated.

The wall is fine!!!

The concept is not bad but I did have to read your description to catch the jest
of it. The ambience of the image is nice and the elements add unity to the
scene. Overall, a nice looking image but at the same time not stunning. I
don't have any suggestions for improvement.

The scene is simply beautiful. I just do not like the
horizon line and the bolt (maybe it should fade to a
brighter blue on the borders).

This picture is my pick to win. Well done. Your attention to detail is
outstanding, particularly on the wood texture for the table, as well as
the candles. The best candles I have seen yet in a CG image. Thanks also
for making your source available. I am learning quite a bit from it.
Regarding your wall, I tried a similar thing to make stony rounded bricks, like
maybe what you would see in a dungeon or a tower. I submitted the source
as well (though it is a little messy), if you would like to look. The pic is
"cbveil"

From glenn@mccarters.net:
Some nice modelling, hidden by none-too-impressive lighting. The indoor
lighting both creates harsh shadows and emphasizes the wrong areas of the
scene. Off-camera lights and candles mounted on higher candelabras would help.
Nice textures all over, especially the wood and bricks. The overall scene is
a little too symbolic for me, with disparate elements seemingly unconnected by
a cohesive story, thus it doesn't really say "future" to me.

I like this scene! Original concept and interpretation of the theme. I think
that the bricks are a little bit too bright, and a halo around the candle
flames would be a plus.

From p_chan@shaw.ca:
Excellent work! The texturing and placement of objects in this scene is done
well. One thing find awkward is that the fog in the background seems too
abrupt.

really nice! although I don't see the direct connection to 'future'
Notable for composition, modelling, lighting
