Scary image, a bit dark maybe, nice trees too.

Nice image. The only thing I can find that stands out is that the grass looks
off. May a little too patterned. Other than that I'd say it's a great haunted
house picture. Goes a little bit more with Halloween than decay, but I know
what you were going for.

Much here looks familiar... Best of class, though I'd score it higher if the
whole class hadn't entered too.

From hildurka@simnet.is:
I_m not sure it is good for your image that the viewer
must read a certain paragraph form a certain book to
understand it. I would rather have the image speaking for
itself.
I like this image even though it is way too dark for my
display. The composition is good but I_m sorry to hear
that the fog has covered your textures. Maybe you
should have made it more transparent. This green color
makes it very fascinating to look at so I understand why
you did it.

I like the set-up of the house. Though is your monitor calibrated? Some areas
appear much too dark, even if that was your intent.

Continue to push the limits of your imagination (and your computer).

From p_chan@shaw.ca:
Excellent work creating the mood of the scene. The
textures look good where they are able to show through
the fog. The grass looks somewhat funny, but this is
probably due to the lighting effect.

From slone@hiwaay.net:
I really like the posts and railing on the porch, too bad
the green fog hides the textures. The green fog is nice
for a Halloween image, but maybe too strong for the decay.
The droopy trees are great.

From file:
I would have left it w/o the fog! I know it would lessen the topic and general
creepiness, but I think the lighting is just not as nice as the textures,
modelling, topic, etc. I think you lost more than you gained with the would
lighting, but the room-glow is very impressive, attempted or not.
Notable for originality, modelling
