IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

I decided to use Naval architecture for this round because I have some
familiarity with ship design and bulding. The interior of the drafting room
probably wouldn't make any architectural publication, but it is based on vague
memories of a room that I saw in an architectureal magazine. The drafting rooms
that I have been in didn't have any windows. If I were working in this room, I
would probably looking out the window and not paying attention to the work. I
wanted to show a half ship with a detailed interior, but I didn't have enough
time.
Since drafting is becoming more computerized, the type of drafting shown
will soon become ancient technology.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

The image is composed of mostly CSG objects, The grass and dandelions are made
from simple macros.
The terrain was converted from Bryce by Objpov. I removed the terrain from the
POV file so that it can run as is.
The upright frame sections and the keel of the ship being constructed in the
dry dock is made up of prisms. The sky is made from a box with a linear
gradient behind cloud layers.
