If one of your tricks to increase fullness is what gives the background trees
that painted look, I like it. Only noticable problem is the waterfall looks to
have a bit of a shoulder.

From leoszilard@yahoo.com:
The trees are good. I've always thought this house would be riddled with
mildew. The waterfall certainly is the place for improvement.

From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com:
The water looks a bit strange, like a sheet of asphalt, and the foliage seems
too large compared to the house. The house itself, however, is a nicely
detailed building.

From p.gibellini@teinos.com:
The waterfall is a bit unreal...

From tek@evilsuperbrain.com:
Reminds me of the Escher waterfalls picture. The design of the building is very
original and is a good choice of subject. The scenery is generally good, but it
needs more work on the water. There should be some ripples where the waterfall
hits the surface.

You're on the right track to make beautiful images, but unfortunately you don't
seem to have an artistic sense... An artistic image would have movement, would
tell a story, have a past and a future... and all this in a still image...
When looking at your picture, I see a very nice render of a blue-print! Try
working on the concept of you future IRTC submissions!

I found you image very interesting. The foliage is what I would focus on. You
have a achieved a unique feel - is almost like the foliage is coming off the
screen. Yet is not really a reastic feel - somewhat surreal sense. The rest
of the image pales against the affect achieved there except for the water -
nicely done. The building and water fall are the image's Achilles heal. The
waterfall just doesn't make it... and the home needed more detail to compete
with the foliage. Really for me the foliage becomes the focal point of the
image.

Actually, I considered briefly to work on this very same house myself for this
round. But I changed my mind, thinking it might become too difficult. I admire
your guts! This one is not easy.

From chris_hormann@gmx.de:
Nice idea but the technical realization could be better. The background
looks quite flat and the house could use more geometric detail.

From p_chan@shaw.ca:
The scene composition is good, but the darkness of the
sky visible through the trees seems inconsistent with the
level of light in the scene. The brick texter looks quite
good, although somewhat artificial. The waterfall seems
too stiff, but realistic water effects are very difficult.
