From tek@evilsuperbrain.com:
very atmospheric.

From rgow@lanset.com:
Good lightning bolt, but it doesn't seem to illuminate the city.

=====
From fcueto@yahoo.com:
I liked very much the lightning. The city ambience does not look very realistic,
I think. Perhaps it's not dark enough.

=====
From ggargett@attbi.com:
Nice pic. Tech score low because you used photoshop
to create the lightning.

=====
From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com:
It feels more like a normal picture than a frozen moment.
=====
From the_dark_allies@hotmail.com:

I like this image. Im just not sure if the lightening should be as thick at the
bottom as from the top?

From N6re@mminternet.com:
Several lightning entrants...lightning is very brilliant and drowns out all
man-made lamps and has a brilliant reflection...

=====
From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de:

The city seems to be a little bit sparse, that is too big empty areas between
the buildings. Actual skyscapers are usually very close to each other.

From david.madore@ens.fr:
Technically highly unimpressive. There is some artistic concept, but if falls
rather short.

From clem@dhol.org:
Good call on the lightning bolt. It does look better than
most algorithmic lightning I have seen. I like the clouds
too. Good variety on the skyline. I can't decide whether
the foreground land adds by providing scale or distracts
the eye.

From matt@alledora.co.uk:
Wonderful water. That's something I always have trouble with.
=====
From p_chan@shaw.ca:
Nice work with making the lighting in the scene look as
if it is coming from the lightening. One thing that seems
missing is a bright flash in the clouds to accompany the
lightening.

=====
From batronyx@alliancecable.net:
Nice dramatic effect. I especially like the neon tubing around some of the
building tops; it adds interest.

=====
From slone@hiwaay.net:
Great lightning, but it seems to appear through a flat slit in the cloud.
Excellent use of color in the city. Very artistic.
