Very Bladerunner :)

Oooh, that dark ominous look... I like it. But if the lightning is freezing the
scene, why do the shadows and light on the building all go the wrong way?

From the_dark_allies@hotmail.com:

Quite some architecture. But don't the faces of the building facing us look a
bit too plain? When I first looked at the space ship I thought I was looking
at a hole inside the building, and the lights were eminating from inside it.
But maybe it's just me.
Keep practicing with lightwave, hope to see more.

Lightning overpowers all man-made lamps with brightness greater than the sun..

Quite nice image. A few technical points, however:

- You would achieve a better image quality by using a higher JPEG quality
factor. Remember that the size limit is 250, you only used a little over 50.
- The bump texture on the skyscraper seems to coarse, the indiviual bumps seem
to severl metres wide.
- it is not quite apparent what illuminates the building. And why only the left
half is illuminated. Lighning shines into all directions.

This is nice, but there are aspects here that I don't quite understand. Maybe I
don't really get the point, in fact.

From clem@dhol.org:
Interesting picture. The city has a Tim Burton Gotham feel.
The lightning bolt lighting is very good. The color really
has a high voltage look.

This is one of the more sucessful scenes in capturing
the "flash" of lightening. The cloud texture looks good,
but it lacks a sense of distance near the horizon.

From slone@hiwaay.net:
Nice atmosphere. A more detailed multi-layered texture on the building
might give it a larger scale.

I think you're stretching the topic a bit too far.
