Why does the water look stripey? The lightings really nice, but you could use
more work on the materials.

From rgow@lanset.com:
Nice texture on the watch. The ice seems like it should have more light through
it, maybe add an interior.

From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com:
The ice cube looks more like a rock with snow on it and I'm missing the
turbulence around the object in the water, but it fits the theme.

From the_dark_allies@hotmail.com:

It looks as though I see a black plane in the waters. But after further
looking, I came to realize it must be the shadow from the sun. May want to
tweak that a little further.

The ice doesn't look very icy for me, sorry :\ And I'm afraid the addition of
the water and the sunset somehow degrades your image. Sometimes, less is more.

From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de:

The overall image is not too bad. It's a pity that you messed up the JPEG
compression, so that there are heavy artifacts visible. A higher quality factor
would have cured that.

From david.madore@ens.fr:
The suggestion of a watch within an ice cube floating on an ocean under the sun
is a nice idea. Unfortunately, the ice block does not look very much like an
ice block, nor is the ocean at all believable.

From clem@dhol.org:
Pretty. The ice seems awful rocky. The pretty
background to topic ratio is too high.

=====
From p_chan@shaw.ca:
The sea works well in the image because the ice has
and iceberg type look to it. The lighting seems
awkward, as there are bright spots on the front of the
clock, and yet the sun is directly behind.

Idealess indeed.
