should apply.  The debris cone you've created looks just like it, a cone.  Some
more randomization there would help the realism.

Hardly unbroken.  That poor planet would crumble like a 
ping pong ball under a sledgehammer.  Many of the 
pieces would probably recombine soon (astronomically 
speaking), but it would do the inhabitants little good.  The 
title and gigantic sig severely damage the image.

The planet looks fairly nie.  I would suggest trying to use 
media for the "dust" blowing away from the planet to 
create a more realistic "explosion" type of look.
