I like the tones in this image.  Good modeling on the snow terrain.  Some
improvement could be done on the trees in the background, as well as a more

The snow is very nice and realistic.  Interestingly, the fact that the trees in
the background are obviously completely fake actually seems to add to the
image's quality (as it conjures a strange image of a kind of toy world).

I think a "frozen moment" calls for something a bit more 
immediate and kinetic than "He's gonna slowly melt one of 
these days."  I do like the stylized trees and the fact that 
the  snowman isn't made of spheres.  The cabin is too flat 
and afterthought-like.

Nice snowman with a bit of character. The focal blur brings the snowman out
but the loss of detail in the house hurts since it fills half the frame.
