Like the outside of the apple texture. The inside doesn't look like apple
though.

I was thinking in doing a similar scene. Excellent!

From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com:
Might have worked better for the "speed" animation contest, but technically
quite sound.

From the_dark_allies@hotmail.com:

Nice work on the particles. However, a bullet does not look as the way you have
modeled. Also, if the bullet is to do the amount of damage as displayed, then
it would have mushroomed, which you also failed to indicate.
 Im not sure why the lens flare is in the position you've placed it, as I do not
see any strong light sources currently that would even produce such a flare.

From sammyf@wanadoo.fr:
Too bad about the lensflare being post-processed. I gave you a slightly lower
technical note due to this. The particles look good, but there is something
which bother me ... I can't say what exactly though. Just a slightly unnatural
feeling about them. Still : a very nice picture.

From patrick@sypa.net:
The bullet does not seam realistic ... it is too long, like if the cartrigde was
moving with it.

=====
From N6re@mminternet.com:
Exit damage typical of bullet which flattens during transit...apple looks good
enough to eat.. can see seeds? Reflection of flash on wall is a good attempt.
Typical interpretation

Excellent image! I dont quite see where the flare in the background is supposed
to come from, though.

From SRJeff@vbbn.com:
Clich_, I must admit, but well done visually. The only thing I'd change...I'd
make the 'wound' in the apple a bit more solid-looking. Very well done,
though.
=====
From bpjackson@woh.rr.com:
Very nicely done, though at first i did not realize this was a bullet, but i did
like the individual shreds of ap ple.

=====
From david.madore@ens.fr:
The exploding apple really looks nice. The bullet itself, however, somehow
seems wrong. On the whole, a nice image.

=====
From clem@dhol.org:
The grain and focal blur hurt the image. The apple
surface looks like it is actually ade of gold rather than
being a yellow apple. You need more backsplatter at the
point of entry.

=====
From matt@alledora.co.uk:
Aaah, the joys of particle systems. I like the apple model and texturing a lot,
but I can't help but think that the light flare is a bit intrusive, and doesn't
really seem to have a reason to be there.
=====
From p_chan@shaw.ca:
Excellent work with the particles and the apple. The
one thing I find somewhat awkward is that the apple is
not in motion. I would expect that some momentum
would be transfered from the bullet to the apple, so that
the apple would be tipping or otherwise moving.

=====
From batronyx@alliancecable.net:
The exit geometry seems a bit too uniform, but otherwise well executed.

=====
From slone@hiwaay.net:
Wonderful apple, bullet hole and trail! The particles look a little like
confetti and the bullet has a plastic finish. Not sure what that brilliant
light is in the background; it_s a small distraction with the lens flare.
Overall an excellent image.
