It took me three separate viewings before I was able to see around the darkness
and shadows to make out her lips, and finally gain the proper perspective on
this. I love the idea and that blanket texture, but maybe the lighting and
camera angle need to changed a little.

Probably qualifies for being on-topic but i am missing your own work a bit.
Neither the figure nor the cloth texture seem to be your own work.  At least
using an area light would have helped to disguise the fact that the cloth
structure is purely texture and not geometry.
