I like the sky, but it seems not in synch with the lighting and shadows..

From tek@evilsuperbrain.com:
A little off topic, it's not a landscape "created by nature", and it's not
exactly spectacular. Though both of those are fairly subjective interpretations
of teh topic.

The scene is quite nice, but it could be improved in a few ways. All the floor
tiles look identical and perfect, as do the fence panels. The repeated texture
on the fence is too obvious. The plants look nice but the grass doesn't seem to
pick up the lighting. Also the photo you've used for the sky is lower res than
your render, so some artefacts are visible.

The dark sky was an excellent choice. It adds a little bit of electricity to the
scene. This just needs a little dirtying up and distinct textures on each fence
board.

dead off-topic.

For some reason this brings the "Karate Kid" to mind. It kind of reminds me of
the backyard in that show.

Very realistic lighting. It adds a lot of realism. Not sure I really get
your take on the topic. The lighting and moody sky seem to allude to
something grand being just out of view.

From chris_hormann@gmx.de:
Nice, pleasant garden scene, good choice of colors but i don't see the
relation to the topic. Some small in some way spectacular element would
probably suffice but right now it seems very far fetched. Grass and ground
look somewhat flat.

From clem@dhol.org:
Way too much pavement and other artificial stuff. More
architecture than landscape. Such plants as are visible
are nicely done, but they are lost in the "acres of tar and
cement".

From p_chan@shaw.ca:
Excellent level of detail. The sky (which I assume is a
image map of a real sky) constrasts somewhat with the
rest of the scene, which as a slightly artificial feel to it.
A greater sense of realism could probably be achieved
by adding some imperfections (chips, etc.) to individual
flagstones. Another modification that would really help
is if it was possible to randomize the texture between
instances of the planks used in the outer fence.

Some of your dirt texture needs work but great looking image!
Notable for textures, lighting, composition, modelling
