I thought it was impossible to win at those games? ;)

Very nice picture.

Both the bear and the man are a little bit plastic (or seem so), but it is a
good interpretation of the theme.

Bifurcated isolation... nice, but the big spotlight is too bright and sharp.

From bfranke2@attbi.com:
This is a lonely man. The textures on the poser guy
need some work. The smoke is very good.

Nice concept. The image could use some technical improvement, though, don't you
think?

From dapigg2000@yahoo.com:
Suprisingly eerie.

From wozzeck@club-internet.fr:
The idea is great and your picture is moving. The result still needs work
(lighting, glass, textures...).
I look forward to seeing the wonders you'll do with some more experience... or
with a working renderer!

Very good concept.

A nice idea for the topic. The man seems out of scale.

From glenn@mccarters.net:
Interesting that both characters in the scene are exhibiting lonliness, =
in their own ways. The cigarette smoke is exceptionally well done. The =
man is well-posed, but his skin is rather pasty. I don't like the =
composition too much -- the way you deliberately cut off portions of the =
man by rigidly aiming the camera in line with the shelves seems forced =
and unnatural. Good work overall.

From bill@apocalypse.org:
Good concept (sad...). The elements of the scene don't "gel" for me very
well, I'm not sure why (a kind of hollowness to them). The bear could have
more roundness and fuzziness to give it more realism. Perhaps a less
aligned angle for the camera would have helped.

From jinx@spodbox.fsnet.co.uk:
well done with the cigarette smoke!

From p_chan@shaw.ca:
You've done an excellent job in creating the mood of the
scene. I like how the loneliness works both on the level
of the man and also on the level of the toy. The string
of lights is also well done - adding a few burnt out bulbs
helps to create a sense of realism. Another thing to add
which would increase the sense of realism would be
some imperfections to the rings. Also, the coins don't
look very metallic to me.

Hehe, he should close, no one will pay to win this teddy !!! poor Teddy !!!

From StephenF@whoever.com:
Another good interpretation of the topic. Good job of
lighting, although the briight white patch draws my eye
away from the bear. The bear itself looks rather oddly-
shaped, and the pure black sections under the shelves
don't seem quite right to me.

I like the image. The bear needs more detail. The bottles
really aren't very good.
