I like the sky, but I think it could have been done without using media: that
would reduce your rendering time significantly and allowed the use of focal
blur (which really adds to an image, I think). Nice image.

A solid picture of a good interpretation of the theme. Maybe a little less
repetition would've worked better.

One of the better "isolation by difference" images

From novotek@web.de:
everyone of us knows the meaning of this image. good work !

From ruy@hipernet.com.br:
The only "but" I have for your image is the sky. With a bit more work, it could
be greatly improved. Either than that. I like it a lot.

Another one with the same general idea, but this one is again differntly alike.
(I wonder if I could add another thing that doesnt make sense and still make
this comment work... I could try)...

The image... it's pretty good. Looks good, good idea... well implemented.

One of only a few images to play on the theme of isolation due to being
different, this is my personal favorite approach to that angle.

Orininal and good looking image.
I think you would have saved a lot of rendering time using CSG rounded boxes
instead of superellipsoids.

Interesting color contrast.

From glenn@mccarters.net:
Great idea, but the image itself is so cluttered with tricky =
embellishments that the main impact is almost lost. Contrast this image =
with cliche.jpg in this competition. The latter is much more effective, =
to me.

I don't know, I think it looks really good. Why is he slightly up
though? I guess I was first thinking of 'Demolition Man' when I first
saw this, as in this individual was being selected for 'processing', or
whatever the case may be... Really nice image though :) Keep up the
nice work.

From p_chan@shaw.ca:
I like how there is multiple levels of separation in the
scene - the shape of the body, the shape of the peg,
and also colour versus greyscale. Hmm... I'm not really
sure how one could achieve a ghost-like effect for the
people. One suggestion would be to use a grey and
black emitting media inside the bodies with a highly
turbulent bozo/spotted pattern, but I'm not sure how it
would look, and it would drive render times up...

From StephenF@whoever.com:
Good use of color to create a mood, and the figures and
their containers look interesting. I'm not sure why the
lonely figure has color while the others are a dreary
black and white... the other way round seems more
natural to me. Nice sense of infinity here, too.

Nice and fitting use of the square peg riff. Good coor
choices. Sealing people in the icy looking pegs adds a
layer. This scene puts me in mind of "The Matrix".
