From tek@evilsuperbrain.com:
This doesn't really feel lonely to me, there is no one subject of the image to
be lonely. Maybe the kettle's good friends with the cocktail glass!

=====
From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com:
These seem just some objects lying around, with only limited use of light and no
clear relationship with loneliness: the drink actually gives the idea that
someone might arrive soon.

From darwallace@earthlink.net:
Looks like the people just went inside for the night. Dull, rusty decay and
cobwebs are called for here. Real lonliness is long-term.

=====
From whitey@telefragged.com:
all alone, in a world where complex shapes are replaced by squares and circles.
spooky.

=====
From beighton155@yahoo.com:
I like the idea you put forward, but it isnt very well represented. The objects
are a little too simple and the chair appears to be too small and at a strange
angle to the floor

=====
From ruy@hipernet.com.br:
It doesn't strike me as a depiction of loneliness.

=====
From dapigg2000@yahoo.com:
I could say alot... and I think I will.

The objects are VERY disproportional! "All is still, all alone" (C'mon!
lonliness is NOT just a juxtaposition and a lack of motion) (sorry for
critiquing the text, it doesn't effect the artistic, tech. or concept points
ayway) but everything is also disproportional!!

A bench taller than an office chair and an office chair that's just ... odd.

This throws the image off. I like the choice of colours, but even colour can't
save a man's backside when he's trying to sit in that chair. (Sorry for the
horrid humour) I must also compliment you for the stuff on the table... not
bad.

From wozzeck@club-internet.fr:
There are many major composition problems in this scene: objects do not have the
same scale, the armchair is loating over the ground... Try to pay attention to
this next time.

=====
From rclee@oklahoma.net:
Good modeling. More texture on floor needed.

=====
From jrcsurvey@aol.com:
The odd scaling of objects together with the stylized textures does give a s=
ense of estrangement.

=====
From glenn@mccarters.net:
Interesting set of contrasting scales for the objects in the scene. For =
example, the table legs are massive, as thick as a teapot. And the =
office chair seems tiny.
Hey! I have an orange on the table in my image, too!

=====
From jinx@spodbox.fsnet.co.uk:
I'm sorry but all it seems to be is just a "Still Life". I cannot see how this
image evokes feelings of loneliness...
=====
From jamesrskemp@eml.cc:
I really do not get much of a 'loneliness' feeling from this. With the
bench and small chair, I instead think that a husband and wife ate a
meal with their child and are now doing some kind of activity...

=====
From p_chan@shaw.ca:
While the detail of some of the objects looks nice (chair,
bench), they don't really fit in with the less detailled
objects (mainly the table). The ground gives me the
idea of a beach setting, so if this was the desired effect,
I would suggest making it less smooth.

=====
From selsek@fnac.net:
Looks like there's two light sources.
That's not very realistic, i think.
A sunset would be better.

=====
From patrick@sypa.net:
The objects proportions seems strange.

=====
From StephenF@whoever.com:
By this definition of the topic, any collection of objects
without people around would be considered lonely,
which I think is a big stretch. Most objects look nice
(although the table is rather basic.) More information on
how the objects were made would have been helpful in
judging technical merit.

From clem@dhol.org:
Sorry, I just don't see it.
