Is this piece supposed to be a king?  It looks like a queen, the king should
have a cross on the top.  In anycase, the image looks decent.  It has nice soft
color and reflections.  Better lighting and more detailed items would be a
bonus.

I like the lighting in the scene.  I would have used a 
different texture for the floor as the current one doesn't 
really fit in with the wooden walls.

Other than the borrowed chess piece, not much 
complexity here.  Boards look good, as does the mirror 
texture.  Lighting works well, I think.

Why the hex board?  Nice wood, but the boards are a bit 
too regular.  The very shiny surface of the piece is a bit 
distracting.
