A recognizable concept, and I don't really see all the artifacts mentioned in
the text.

Stairwell, balcony need texture detail.

Very nice house, I like the style. I almost fail to see any radiosity however.
Too bad, as this would of boosted your image higher. Also some texturing on
the walls would also be beneficial.

thats the colour i want my kitchen.

From novotek@web.de:
watch your shadows and the detail ! the image can do more effect if this is
completed.

Geesh. Not too bad. Looks pretty goood & follows the topic well. Not bad. Very
commendable.

Waiting by the phone... I like that interpretation of theme. Although,
it might work better if she had a sort of bored look like maybe he's been
disappointing her for a while. Like she's still waiting, but maybe not so
enthusiastically anymore. (The cad! He's probably off raytracing again!)

Good modeling. The back wall needs some texture. The
floor looks a bit too clean.

From glenn@mccarters.net:
Very well thought-out theme and good modeling all around. But something =
about the image doesn't appeal to me. Is it the too-bright colors on =
certain objects? The wood floor texture? The stairwell that seems to =
end against a wall?
No. Here is what bothers me: the "good" lighting is in the background, =
and the foreground objects aren't close enough to the camera. These =
effects combine to draw the eye away from the focal point of the scene. =
I think a shaft of sunlight cutting across the telephone would help a =
lot.

Hmm, the room could use some more 'stuff', which is probably why nobody
is calling her ;) Could have gone with a move type title, and it would
have worked, probably (looks like she is moving, or just moved).

From p_chan@shaw.ca:
The level of detail in the foreground and outdoors
portion of the image are excellent, but the background
(stairs, second floor, etc.), sections are far too uniform
in texture (no doubt the "unfinished" portion of the
scene). As for the finished part of the scene, the floor
strikes me as being too reflective, as I can see fairly
clear reflection in it (especially the tree through the
patio door on the right).

Too Empty/Clean !

From StephenF@whoever.com:
I like the shape of the room, especially the staircase.
The wood texture could use some work, though. Very
nice overall, and a good interpretation of the topic.

From clem@dhol.org:
Another surprisingly underused idea. Decent pose. The
solitary person rattling around in the big fancy house adds
to the effect.
