A good idea that doesn't entirely appear due to lack of lighting and integration
of objects.

I had the very same idea '3-dog night', but resisted the urge...

I would recommend a text object "1" for good font selection, then lean it
against the pole with a matrix shear transformation.

A good concept, but needs improvement. It was hard to tell the number at first,
as it is all twisted about. By using textures on his sides you could make it
more obvious to the viewers. Also the scene tends to look TOO dark. A bit
more tweaking of the light is needed as well.

Funny thing, I was listening to that song (by Aimee Mann, though) just a couple
of minutes ago. Great concept.

heh. Good one. It's lonely being #1.

Very clever. Before I read the description, before I saw the title, I knew
what you were getting at and it had me smiling by the time I confirmed
my guess.

Great song!

From jrcsurvey@aol.com:
Clever idea. I have often pondered the imagery of that song.

Somehow I did not recognize this as the number one. Good textures and =
subdued lighting.

Interesting variation on the topic. I feel the cartoonish
look you are aiming for is ruinned somewhat by the detail
on the bench, although I wouldn't mind having the image
more realistic looking, with the 1 being the only cartoon
element.

From StephenF@whoever.com:
One of my favorite interpretations of the topic this round.
Nice work shaping the number. I think the other objects
could be more complex and the scene would still work
just as well, though.

Very original scene.

Puns are pretty reliable, but it is a bit too hard to recognize
the figure as a one. I would like less flat bricks in the
back.
