From tek@evilsuperbrain.com:
This looks great, really stylised. The fog, lighting, blur, and layout are all
excellent. It's very simple and very dramatic

From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com:
I feel that the focal blur might've worked better if there was actually
something that the camera focused on, even though it might not be in the center
of the image. It now looks more as if the blur is meant to hide some aspects of
the picture, rather than show them. Ignoring this, the loneliness is present.

  The tree is a nice piece of design, same with the mountains. Though the image
seems to lack contrast.

From awilcox@dreampeach.com:
Great image. I like the painted quality. Mb bring out the tree a bit more if
possible.
=====
From beighton155@yahoo.com:
I assume the tree is the lonely object in this image? Its a nice idea, but the
final image appears to be stretched horizontally.

=====
From ruy@hipernet.com.br:
Kinda pointless to use the grass macro when the details are lost in the mist.

=====
From p.olice@free.fr:
Not bad at all, but a few mistakes: too much fog, and the tree in centred in the
image.

=====
From dapigg2000@yahoo.com:
Has a good effect to it... gives a lonely feeling anyway. Good use of colour.
=====
From cfusner@enter.net:
Straightforward, but actually quite a picturesque scene.

=====
From tim.nikias@gmx.de:
Very washed out. But the tree sure is lonely.

=====
From suso@suso.org:
  A little bit bigger image would have been better I think to show more detail.
 Perhaps something like 1000x380.

=====
From rclee@oklahoma.net:
Good effort. Additonal texturing on the mountains
and grass areas would help. I liked the sky.

=====
From glenn@mccarters.net:
Could be rendered a little larger, to see more detail in the image.

=====
From p_chan@shaw.ca:
Nice work creating the athmosphere of a heavy fog. I
find that the tree is a bit too winding in that it lacks any
definitive trunk. The background mountains look fairly
nice, but they are perhaps a bit too uniform in colour in
certain places.

=====
From StephenF@whoever.com:
Not bad... I like the simple mountains. The scene seems
a little squashed, though, especially noticable on the
tree. Fog and other effects work well here.

=====
From clem@dhol.org:
Fog and focal blur are way overused. They rarely add
atmosphere as much as they kill detail and hide
shortcomings.  Just a blurry landscape.
