Nice work on the standing bottle.  Though the back wall looks a little plain. 
Perhaps something else near the empty circle could of spiced up the image from
making the viewer stare at just too many bottles.

This is a superb picture. I think the focal blur is fine as it is, and i didnt
even notice the shadow was thin. Only problems i found where that the cork
looks less life-like than the rest of the image, and the top of the bottle
appears to skew to the right.May just be my eys tho!Good first submission

Upon viewing the image, I had assume you meant the loneliness of drinking 
(alone), but from reading the text I think you meant more that one 
remaining undrunk bottle is lonely.  :-)  Anyway, a good scene - simply 
done yet evocative and interesting in a way.

I agree that the wood texture is looks fairly real.  The 
bottles and the glass are also fairly realistic.  While the 
focal blur does draw your attention away from the plain 
background, it could still use a bit more detail to create 
a greater sense of realism.

Very nice for a first entry... realistic complex glass 
objects can be tricky.  Focal blur works well to cover up 
the lack of detail in the background.  The wood texture 
looks good, but makes it look like the top of the table is 
rather bumpy in spots.

Bottles and cork look very realistic. Nice dust effect, though it looks a bit
strange under the bottle in the bottom left corner. The shadow of the filled
bottles looks a bit strange, too, but may be realistic.

I am surprised that this is the only "one bottle left" theme 
in this round.  The wine color needs to be richer.  It looks 
more like merthiolate.
