A good first entry and I hope your dream date comes to pass.  I have the
following suggestions.  A scene of this complexity would look better if
you can render it larger.  I found the sky beautiful, but the
orientation of colors odd, but perhap because the moon is there you
intended this?  The ground should slope into water.  This grass is too
uniform and does not look quite right to me. Take a look at the "19th
Century Ruins" image by Bob Franke for the IRTC ruins round. I have
always like this image in large part because I think the field of grass
looks good.
