        The tire tracks to me looked more like railroad tracks.  The mailboxes
were a nice addition, but this scene seems too empty.  Where are the telephone
poles and the rest of things outside the front entrance?  Using variation in
height on the fence pieces was a smart idea, however, you used the exact same
texture and mapping co-ordinates on each piece, and it shows.
        The hills look too artificial as well.  Though it is an enjoyable piece
of art overall.  Hope to see more work from the family in the next IRTC.

Very nice image - it's a shame the radiosity didn't work out, and the
textures could do with some work, but I like the composition.

I can't see the artifacts you mention - do they show up in the jpg?

Like the sky and hills. I looked for the artifacts ya 
mentioned and couldn't find anything but unformed tree 
parts and shadows. Try a little antialising. The snow in 
the foreground is flat, could have been done with a 
height field.
