Nice work on the figures and the ground.  Rain looks 
good too.  The way the figures are positioned, it looks to 
me as if David is fleeing from Goliath, which I don't think 
is what the artist intended (bases on the text file).  This 
undermines the intended concept of the scene quite a 
bit.

The splash and rainy atmosphere are really well done.  Good 
characterizations, but why is David facing away from Goliath?  Is it 
coincidence that both have nearly the same pose?  Modeling is excellent on 
Goliath, but David has a funny face and shoulders.  I like most of the 
textures, except for the rim of the big shield.  Image is a little "flat" 
lacking strong contrasts or shadows.

Goliath's shins and arm muscles look very good.  Why isn't his sword
drawn, and why is David facing away from him?  David's expression is a
bit odd.  The plants are good; it looks like Goliath is normal-sized
and David is tiny, which may or may not have been the effect you
wanted.
