The use of black and white for the background of the scene emphasizes the
sadness of the image.  I feel the scene could have been improved by having a
less formless background which conveyed the greatness of the civilization that
has passed.

There are water, ruins, and lampposts there?  I can sort of see the
lamp posts after reading the text file, but mainly, I'm wondering what
I'm supposed to be looking at. :(  Conceptually, the feather could
work really well, but the rest of the image is too abstract to make
out.

I think the concept was good, but even with the description in the text file,
I can't see what some of the background objects are.  I know you used focal
blur to make them less clear, but perhaps they should be a bit clearer than
they are?
