The wooden texture on the chess pieces looks nice.  I would have chosen a
different view for the scene, since this one doesn't give a good view of some
of your chess pieces (most notably the knight).  IMHO the background doesn't
fit that well.  I like the glowing white effect at the bottom, but not the
brown and white pattern at the top.

The chess pieces are well done, and the wood texture is excellent.
The bright white fog is ok, but I think the completely abstract sky
goes very poorly with the photorealistic board.  The white/black
pieces look very similar in color, as well.
