I really like the board here - the bevelling goes a long way to making it more
realistic, IHMO. I think the single spotlight gives the image an outdoors feel,
maybe radiosity and/or multiple spotlights and deep shadows would give more of
a war-room intensity? Great image!

Nice but too cluttered - no centre of interest

try to work on your lighting some more to give it some atmosphere. quite
original.

You did a pretty good job with the texturing for the marble countries and the
water. I would have liked to see more detail in the models of the pieces,
particularily the battleships and the aircraft carrier.

Creative and pleasing to look at. Very well done.

The planes don't show up well against the marble.
Looking at you scene for awhile produces eye strain.

I don't think Europe looks realistic here, but who
cares... it looks great (and more artistic than Europe
normally looks, I think.) Nice scene overall, and a good
interpretation of the topic.

Good work. I like the all-encompassing wide-angle camera viewpoint. Not
having played (or even seen) A&A, I cannot comment on the realism of the
image. Good technique to create the countries.

I like the concept, and the modelling of the pieces looks good. The
metal texture looks slightly off, although I can't explain how
exactly. Shame about having to use stone textures off the 'net, but
they did come out well.

I played Axis an Allies in college for a while, but one of my roommates was on a
quest to find out if there were a way to win if you started out with Japan. He
spent a whole semester staying up until 2:00 am trying to figure it out.

Anyway, the water is a little off-setting. . . more reflection would help. The
picture is hard to understand visually. There are too many non-essential
areas, such as the marbling and beveling of the countries. Pulling the camera
out a bit might solve the crowded feel of it.
