IMAGE DESCRIPTION: Teddy bears playing Quidditch
DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:
I had various ideas (as usual) for this round, and started making objects
for all of them, to see which ones showed most promise. Most of them
overlapped anyway, but the bear-sized Quidditch set, inspired by JK Rowling's
Harry Potter books, only fitted one idea.

Then my house purchase suddenly became final and I've been spending most
of my time sorting out the house etc. For a while, I didn't think I'd get
any entry done for this round, and this one doesn't have everything I'd
worked on.

Quidditch is the game played by the students at Hogwarts School for
Witchcraft and Wizardry in the Harry Potter books. In this scene, Harry
(played by a bear) is about to catch the Snitch (played by a Snitch),
Draco (a bear) is too late to catch it, while Fred (another bear) is about
to hit a Bludger (a bludger).

The bears haven't changed from previous rounds. The wizard robes are new,
based on costumes made for previous rounds. The broomsticks, and other
game equipment, were modelled for this scene. The sky texture is based on
one I'd used in a previous round, and is built up in three layers. The
ground texture was meant to give an impression of the ground, seen from some
distance above. The robe textures are made of the main house colour, with
occasional specks of the secondary colour.

The scene looks too static; I suppose it needs some sort of motion blur
effect. The ground texture... I'm not sure if it works or not. The
robes looked better when they weren't in such close-up.
