I like this. Also, technically, everything seems to be put together nicely. The
moon looks kinda odd to me, like there are 2, a light and a dark one, although
I don't know how the real moon would look.. and I guess there's no reason to
believe it should be the real moon, as well :)

Just a little trick on composition matter,never
cut the main character of the scene,you should have rotated your camera
centering to the right to catch the rest of the wing.

Everytime I look at this picture, I see something else I like.  There are more
than a few design weaknesses, but I find that the pheonix is incredible; I also
like the consistent upward drift of lighting and the crystals.  Good color
scheme.  The theme was well worked out, so I do not find my common complaint
(that imaginary animals and mythology are not the extent of fantasy).

This I really like... the phoenix pretty much makes the 
scene here.  Good use of color and lighting effects give 
this a real fantasy feel.  The gold tint to the sky is a nice 
touch.  The glow around the phoenix's 'comb' looks a bit 
solid in the center to me.  Very nice scene!
