Not a bad composition, and good work with thematic interpretation, though my
normal comments still apply: realism is not the only art form, and imaginary
animals in medievil settings are not the limit of fnatasy or mystics.  Good
work with the 3D elements and contrast in lighting make a good composition.

This has a nice feel to it... I like the contrast between 
the (somewhat) bright foreground and the dark 
background.  The wizard looks decent, although there 
might be some problems in terms of proportions.  The 
spell effects look interesting but I think something other 
than pure white would help.
