nice!
reminds me of chrome dudes from The Minds Eye :) talk about a 3d blast from the
past..

From StephenF@whoever.com:
The bug looks pretty cool. (I assume the high render
time is due mainly to reflection, etc. in the metallic and
transparent textures?) The buildings could use some
work, I think... even just a basic texturing would help a
lot.

Liked the concept. I also liked the reflected look. However, it seemed a bit
too 3Dish... made up of primitives stuck together.

You could've worked harder to get a more realistic atmosphere. Rhino is a good
software and you can model better stuff. Anyway, the final result looks pretty
artistic to me.

I like how the hornet was made.

Funny.

From delfeld@mailcity.com:
Best keep away from kids, or anyone. I suppose there is a market, but it seems
a little too violent and dangerous for normal use. How, exactly, are obstacles
rendered 'harmless'?

The composition is a little weak: the verticals to the left distract from the
'hornet' without adding anything coherent to the image.

Nice bee, but the surrounding scene lacks detail. And you didn't use
anti-aliasing?
