I love your concept it seems to be unique in this round. Your perspective view

That's some pretty good construction for 6 to 8 year 
olds.  I would reduce the lens flare, it is too distracting. 
What is that on top of the treefort.  It kind of looks like 
one of the Shadow vessels from Babylon 5.

A structure that imitates a defensive building does not imply that there is an
invader.  In the text file, you explain your ideas very well, and (though I
object to your limited sex roles) am made aware of the childhood "fortress" you
mean to evoke.  The image fails to explain so well.  A fortress needs the
dialectic between the interior and the exterior world, in image terms.  

I do like the image, though.  Good light and composition.
