There is a slight relation to the idea of fortress in this image, but shooting
is not a dialectic with outside forces trying to attack or gain entry. 
Something substantial and external needs to relate (in imagery) to the concept
of a 'hardened heart' (the internal and defensive) in order to relay the idea.
