Hmm. There is something a bit too homogenous about
each patch of color. Taken as a whole there is certainly
a good contrast but taken individually the pieces don't
really have enough variance.

How does this relate to the concept of fortress?  A fortress is not an object
that resembles a castle. . . they may be two different ideas.
